In this video, we will understand how to identify trends using Moving Averages, Exponential Moving Averages & Average Directional Index (ADX). We will apply all these indicators in the markets and understand how the trend works out.


Momentum Trading using EMA & ADX

In case of Positional Trades, you can easily use Moving Averages to generate excess returns. We will understand the necessary set of rules, and understand how Positional Trades can be taken based on MA. With this, we just can’t find Trading opportunities but Investment opportunities too. 

Positional Trades using Moving Averages

We will set up the RSI & Trend lines rules for multi-frame analysis. We will understand this with multiple instances from the market, and identify both uptrends & downtrends in the market.

Momentum Build up using RSI & Trend lines

While Trading, we all wish to identify breakouts and these breakouts can be identified using Bollinger Bands, Moving Averages, and the RSI indicators simultaneously. We will take 3 different cases and apply the strategy to identify breakouts.

Breakout Trading

Let’s understand the MACD indicator, and how crossovers (Bullish & Bearish) are formed using the MACD indicator. We will take examples of both Bullish & Bearish crossovers and set up their respective rules. The right set of guidelines will help us establish a favourable risk-reward ratio.

Everyone is not willing to trade on a daily or weekly basis, but is willing to identify trends & opportunities, so that they can remain invested for a longer time frame. MACD as an indicator can be exactly used for this. Let’s understand how to identify positional trades using the MACD indicator.

RSIs can help us easily determine the speed and size of price change. We will try to challenge the conventional thought process of RSI in this video, and try to establish a set of rules through which we can use RSI for Momentum Trading.
