- Principles of Technical Analysis: The instructor will begin the mentorship program with an introduction to the concept of technical analysis - what is it, its importance, and how could one use it for stock trading. You will also learn about the basic principles of technical analysis and get familiar with common terminologies used by traders in the stock market.
- Candlesticks & Candlestick Patterns: This program will help you understand the building block of a price chart - the candlestick. You will finally be able to differentiate between red & green candles, and learn to interpret them for decoding a stock's price behaviour. This is a very important topic, building on which other technical analysis concepts would be taught. You will also learn to enter and exit trades by looking only at candlesticks.
- Chart Patterns: Once you learn about the foundation, i.e. candlesticks, the program will move on to chart patterns, helping you identify potentially profitable trades, along with a guide to entering & exiting them at the right points.
- Trading Indicators: This program will also teach you to draw trendlines like the support and resistance levels in different types of markets. You will also be taught how to use different types of indicators like moving averages, Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD, and Fibonacci tools. These indicators will give you essential information about the movement and behaviour of a stock's price.
- Trend Analysis: Trend analysis is all about using the above concepts to determine the direction in which the market is moving, eventually helping you to choose the most profitable trades and build the right positions. The instructor will show how to determine, analyze, and trade a trend in the market with practical examples.
- Entry, Exit, & Stop Loss: Throughout the mentorship program, the instructor will illustrate the concepts with practical examples from her vast experience of 37 years. - Important Tools: During the program, the instructor will be using TradingView for chart reading and Chartink to scan for suitable stocks to trade. Learning to use these tools would be very helpful, forming a crucial part of your trading journey.
- Risk Management: One of the most important lessons for any trader, this program will teach you to manage your capital and risk. Is this mentorship program conducted live?
Yes, the Technical Analysis Mentorship Program by Jyoti Budhia - Live on Upsurge.club will be a live mentorship program conducted by Jyoti Budhia herself. It will cover a range of concepts, strategies, and examples you need to master technical analysis, a solid foundation of which is required to be built to become a successful trader. You will get to learn from Jyoti Ma'am's commentary on the live markets and interact with her as well, helping you apply the strategies and techniques yourself.
What would be the timing for the live sessions?
The live session will be conducted from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the mentioned days. If there is any change in the timings, communication for the same would be made via the WhatsApp group, to which you would be added after enrolling in the program.
Can I skip a few sessions?
We would recommend you not skip any of the live sessions, especially the live market session since they will enhance your learning tremendously. Most of the sessions will be conducted after market hours, hence you would not have to sacrifice your trading time for the same. Jyoti ma'am would also share her market commentary on some of the days. If you miss anything, you can watch the recording of the session, which will be available 1-2 days after the live session.
How long will I have access to the recordings?
Recordings of the live mentorship program will be accessible for 1 year from the date of the last live session, i.e. 1st June 2025.
What is PaperTrade?
PaperTrade.Live is a platform where you can learn to invest and trade in Equity and F&O without using real money, which means that you can explore and test your strategies in the live markets without any actual financial risk. Yes, you will have the opportunity to ask your doubts to the instructor directly. Some days of the program (Day 6 & Day 7) are exclusively reserved for Q&A sessions with the instructor. Additionally, the WhatsApp group will be opened regularly for discussions and doubt-solving.
